/* ONE FACE PER FAMILY PER SUBSET, WITH A WEIGHT RANGE (MMS-72).

Frank Ruhl Libre and IBM Plex Sans are VARIABLE fonts: one file spans the
whole weight axis, so Google served the same bytes whichever weight the
fetch asked for and saved them three times under three names — ten of the
nineteen files here were byte-identical copies of another five.

The duplication was the small half. Google's own CSS declares each copy as
   a separate face with a SINGLE-VALUE `font-weight` descriptor, and a single
value PINS a variable font to its default instance: the browser never moves
the axis, so every `font-weight:500` and `:600` in the reader rendered the
Regular outlines with the engine's synthetic emboldening on top. Measured
in headless Chromium at 40px before this change, the same Hebrew string
   read 414.05px at 400 and 423.05px at 600 — +2.17%, which is synthesis and
   not the font's own semibold.

A RANGE descriptor (`font-weight: 400 600`) is what tells the browser the
file covers those weights and to interpolate between them. IBM Plex Mono is
NOT variable — its 400 and 500 are different files — so it keeps a face per
weight, and its descriptor states the one weight that file is.

THE GROUPING IS BY THE FILE'S OWN BYTES, not by its name: the three names
are what the fetch invented. Refreshing this file means checking the
MEASUREMENT rather than the byte count — three identical files and one file
declared three times look the same on disk and paint differently. */
